慢慢我發覺，小朋友上小學要適應的，其實是一些跟課程完全無關的事情。
比方那天Audrey跟我說，老師叫10至15號的小朋友出來排隊。Audrey是15號，於是她就走出來，然後她發覺第14號的女孩仍安安樂樂的坐在位子上，原來14號女孩不知道10至15內其實包括了自己。我問哪老師怎麼做，Audrey說老師罵了她。我不清楚那種罵有多嚴重，或許只是叫她下次留心一點，但無論如何，我腦海裡出現了一個可憐巴巴的14號女孩影像。
或許14號女孩的幼稚園用英文授課，所以她中文程度不好；或許她數學概念不好，不明白10至15的意思；又或許她根本不明白學號是什麼，不知道為什麼自己好端端的忽然變成一個號碼。
令六歲小孩感到困惑的，或許真的不是功課。
噢... 可憐的女孩。這是成長的苦澀嗎?

回覆刪除I can't remember whether kindgerten kids have learned 1 to 100 or not. It is reasonable to know 1-10 as you only have 10 fingers and it is shame to count your toes in front of classmates.
Little angels start to learn the dark side of the world. There are witches. In primary six, they will fight back! They learn more English and change the letter from w to b.
papa of F1 girl - you upgraded your name!! good! of cos they have dark side, audrey told me the other day a girl persuaded her to throw a dirty grape to the corner of the playgroup (instead of a dustbin) - and, she did follow her friend's suggestion and threw the grape... i can totally understand the "fun" of doing such thing. and as a parent, i need to find an appropriate way to explain and ask her not to do it next time...
