you're gonna love it!!! and baking is soooooooooooooo much easier than chinese cooking i think. (sorry i can barely cook)
i totally agree that cooking is therapeutic, that is if you are able to cook quietly on your own. sometimes i imagine setting out a cooking mission/challenge like julie & julia!
wan - i think that's a piece of white chocolate...
amy - i actually cheated - we used a pack of muffin mixture yesterday, just add egg and water will be ok :) i'll try to make some cookies soon though. audrey was so excited yesterday when she saw the muffin "raising" up!
i should do that with my 3.5y old restless boy, i am sure he will love. i have to thank you for all the tips and funny stories you post here. your blog is really inspiring. post more please
Oh I use premix all the time, particularly on unhealthy desserts like chocolate cakes and cookies. I tried mixing the dough from scratch, but could never convince myself to put in the specified quantities of sugar and butter etc. Premix is foolproof - great for me!
Amy - oh i love you saying that!! i actually bought a couple more premixes at citysuper today :P and i totally agree with you - i actually tried to make some chinese pudding before (eg "ma dau go"), but i couldn't stand seeing myself dumping a big bag of sugar into the mixture...
好似好好味咁~不黃色個塊咩黎!?
